Why Should Every Child Learn Robotics?

Robotics may sound too hard and challenge for young learners, but an introduction to robotics can help develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, the report says. And of course, it exposes them to abstract ideas at a young age.

Basic Packages

This course is specially designed for Kids.

 

Basic Level 

Syllabus:

  1. Introduction to courses overview, robot design and applications.
  2. Discuss about basic electronic. (Voltage, Current, basic electronic components and its functions, simple circuit design, circuit design and simulation.
  3. Discuss about basic robot design.
  4. Introduction to programming (Scratch and Thinkercad)
  5. Introduction to Arduino.
  6. Designing basic level Arduino project using Thinkercad cad and simulation.
  7. Design physical project using Arduino.
  8. Individual project (Assessment)       

Essential packages

This course is more complex than the Basic course and is especially suitable for children from Grade 7 onwards.

Essential Level 

Syllabus:

  1. Introduction to courses overview, robot design and applications.
  2. Discuss about electronic, electronic components testing devise and circuit design.
  3. Discuss about programming. (Scratch and Thinkercad)
  4. Introduction to Arduino architecture.
  5. Programming Arduino with C
  6. Introduction to sensors and mechatronics.
  7. Design projects using Arduino.
  8. Advance discussion about input/output device (Sensors, actuators and controlling )
  9. Arduino programing with arithmetic operation.
  10. Design more projects using Arduino.

     

Advanced Packages

This course is specially designed for elder school children to university students.

 

Advanced Level 

Syllabus:

  1. Introduction to courses overview, robot design and applications.
  2. Discuss about electronic, electronic components testing devise and circuit design.
  3. Discuss about programming. (Scratch and Thinkercad)
  4. Introduction to Arduino architecture.
  5. Programming Arduino with C.
  6. Introduction to sensors (I/O components) Arduino modules and mechatronics.
  7. Design project using Arduino.
  8. Introduction to Engineering design software and create project using engineering software.
  9. Circuit design with
  10. Discuss about advance C programming technics using Arduino
  11. Introduction to Industrial Automation.
  12. Introduction to basic motor controlling.
  13. PLC (Programming Logic Control) Basic and create micro PLC project.
  14. Create Advance level robot using Engineering design software and Arduino.
  15. PCB Creation and fabrication.
  16. Introduction to IOT (Internet of Think)

Latest Projects

Automatic Irrigation Controller

This project is a brainchild of Cargill’s food city plantation division. Here they had an irrigation system, but there was no system required to operate the system automatically. The task assigned here was to create an automatically operated system for the irrigation system. Here first made a 3D design for it. After that, the final product was created according to the 3D design. Here everything from the design to the final product was created by Sl Robotica.

Temperature/RH/EC Monitoring Module

This project is a brainchild of Cargill’s food city plantation division. The task assigned here was to create a Temperature, RH, and EC Monitoring system for the irrigation system. Here first made a 3D design for it. After that, the final product was created according to the 3D design. Here everything from the design to the final product was created by Sl Robotica.

Automatic Fuel Pump Controller

This is a project that was installed in the Sri Lanka customs Head Office Building to maintain fuel in the generator automatically. The final product was created according to the Client’s requirements. Here everything from the design to the final product was created by Sl Robotica.
